Toddy, a traditional sri lanka brew is wildly consumed by locals for both medicinal values in small quantities and simply to have a good time in large doses. Tight-Ropes between either coconut trees or palms tree can be seen across the country side as you. Locals harvest the sap and then store for fermentation and is usually consumed with a pinch of salt. Popular areas for toddy is coastal regions due to it's freshness and we recommend you to taste this wonderful brew while you tour Sri Lanka.
